  • Do you locate underground utilities?

    Yes. We will contact Miss Utility. However, Miss Utility does not mark private lines. 

    The owner is responsible for making this aware to us before we dig.

  • How long will my wood fence last?

    There are many factors that affect the life expectancy of your fence. Climate, sun exposure, water table, insect population and the type of wood you have chosen are just to name a few. Spruce fences last up to 12 years, cedar fences last almost twice as long.

  • Do I need a Permit?

    Every municipality is different and has its own building codes. You are typically responsible for obtaining any permits and permit fees as necessary. Nanticoke Fence can obtain the permits for you though. Your Salesperson can help answer your questions about Permits and the process.

  • Do I Need a Survey When Installing A Fence?

    Yes, usually. Again, your salesperson will discuss this fully with you before you purchase your fence.

  • Can the fence be placed directly on the property line?

    Yes. Though Nanticoke Fence Co recommends placing your Fence slightly within your Property line. Ask your Salesperson about the advantages and disadvantages to placing a fence directly on the property line. As depending on your actual property will help you decide where you may want the placement of your fencing.

  • How tall can my Fence be?

    Generally a fence can be up to six feet high. Different zoning rules may apply to your area. If you are unsure we suggest to check with your local town, county or home association, If you are unsure where to check be sure to ask your salesperson to help you.

  • Can I purchase product for self installation?

    Yes! Nanticoke Fence can supply you with our quality fencing products and will be glad to answer your questions for your DIY project

  • Are you using quality material?

    The vast majority of fence companies are supplied by a few wholesalers that only sell their products to licensed fence professionals. It is in their best interest to insure that they sell the best material possible for the price to fence installers. Nanticoke Fence Co. is an Authorized Dealer for only the Top of the line fence products! Ask you Salesperson about our lineup of quality products for our fence types offered. Only the best products are used by Nanticoke Fence and all are warranted.

  • Can we trust you?

    At Nanticoke Fence Co., we can honestly say that we care more about your fence than you do. We want to meet with you and communicate with you from setting up the estimate appointment, to meeting you to install your fence, walking the fence line once the job is complete to take care of any issues that you may find or answer your questions about why we did what we did, and to resolve any issues that you may have right then.
